About This Spot

Stepping into Musse, you’ll find yourself in a relaxed neighborhood retreat tucked away along Reseda Boulevard. It’s the kind of place where the pace slows just enough to savor the small but meaningful moments—that familiar clink of stone bowls, the soft bustle of servers weaving through tables, and the warm exchange of greetings that feel genuinely attentive without ever rushing you.

The atmosphere is quietly comforting, leaning into the familiar rhythms of a Korean home kitchen yet maintaining a thoughtful polish that makes every visit feel a little special. Whether it’s the modest hum of conversation or the gentle aroma of simmering broths and sizzling pancakes, Musse draws you into a cozy rhythm that encourages you to settle in and explore flavors one spoonful at a time.

Here, traditional Korean dishes are served with care and thoughtful detail—nothing feels hurried or overstated. The experience is grounded in the simple joy of well-prepared food shared in good company. From hot dolsot bibimbap that arrives bubbling and fragrant, to richly layered soups that warm from the inside out, each dish invites a quiet moment of discovery. Side dishes come in generous variety, their colors and textures layering seamlessly with every bite, making the meal feel like a gentle unfolding of tastes.

The welcoming spirit extends beyond the food. Servers check in with a warmth that feels natural rather than scripted, always ready to share a recommendation or ensure your comfort. Parking is more generous than you might expect for the area, making it all the easier to visit without fuss.

For those who find the buzz and traffic of Koreatown a bit overwhelming, Musse offers a laid-back alternative without sacrificing authenticity or soul. It’s the kind of place you come back to not because it shouts, but because it feels like a quiet favorite among the many options in the valley—a spot where the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality quietly align into something worth returning for.

2025 We have been here a long time ago. I remember it was good then. We renewed that opinion this time too. I got the Bibimbop and my wife had the Galbi. Of course it came with lots of tasty bonchan. My bibimbop also came with soup. Every dish was very tasty. I even enjoyed the kimchee more than usual! The servers were very nice. The continually checked in on us. This has become our favorite Korean restaurant in the valley. 2022 Tasty Korean dishes such as Bugogi and Kalpi. The sides were all delicious and when we asked for a box, the waitress was kind enough to give us some free kimchee to go. This would have been a 5, but there was only one waitress for a full dinner crowd.

We had dinner at Musse last night. It was not busy only four tables customer, service was friendly and quick. The menu is pretty much the same as our favorite Korean food Sunnongdan (but nearest spot is in K town which is a long drive and line, busy traffic etc). Cold dishes were good (noodles and radish especially), ordered their special pot, regular size for 48.99, came with soup and two rices. I have to say taste was good but meat quality was not as good as Sunnongdan. Overall it’s the best Korean place in the valley and we have options now.

There are several Korean restaurants in the valley but some are just ok. This one is not bad. We had the Korean pancakes and the spicy beef soup and it was good. Of course I like all their side dishes as well. They have more parking in the back of the restaurant. When you can’t make it to Korean town then this place is ok.

Right : fried rice- up: #8 (ox knee and beef brisket)-down: #11 (spicy beef tofu). Star of the show : literally all of them. Fried rice so flavourful and amazing (could be just a little less oily). The amount of spice was awesome in all of the dishes. Side dishes were amazing and a lot of variety. Specially the picked onion. Definitely gonna be our spot for authentic Korean cuisine. Deducted 1 star only and only bcz of staff; not so welcoming and friendly.

I don't get the (lack of) traffic in this restaurant, it's easily one of the best Korean restaurants I've been to in LA. Consider how many Korean restaurants there are in LA, that's high praise! I hope people just get it to go a lot, otherwise y'all are really missing out.

It was our first time at Musse, and my sister and I were so impressed. The cozy atmosphere and delicious food made us feel like we were in Korea. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented—truly one of the best authentic Korean restaurants in the SFV. The staff was so kind and welcoming—we even started calling our server Unnie! We’ll definitely be back.
